Restrict Login IP Addresses
For typical use cases Dashboard Login IP address restrictions are not required.
Suggested Use cases:
- For customers where Dashboard members are working to moderate sensitive conversations where agents should not have access outside of their work environment.
- For fintech customers where dashboard access needs to be highly restricted.
- For customers with dedicated security teams who understand/control firewalls, VPNs, etc.
You can restrict Sendbird Dashboard member login access to a range of permitted IP addresses such as a VPN/NAT IP range. If a login attempt is made from an IP address outside this specified range, it will be denied. To prevent being locked out, it is recommended to test the Login IP restriction in a separate browser without logging out during the setup process.
The Sendbird dashboard Login IP restriction can be configured under Access Control of the organization settings.
For the members who have completed two-factor authentication, we also provide an option to exceptionally allow dashboard access without IP restriction by toggling the option on below.
