Get thread information

Retrieves thread information on a specific message.

HTTP request

GET https://api-{application_id}.sendbird.com/v3/{channel_type}/{channel_url}/messages/thread_info

Note: If you are using the in-app channel in Delight AI agent, the endpoint for your API request should start with https://api-{application_id}.svc.delight.ai/v3 instead of https://api-{application_id}.sendbird.com/v3. For more details, refer to our Delight AI agent guide.

Parameters

The following table lists the parameters that this action supports.

channel_type	string	Specifies the type of the channel where the target message belongs to. Acceptable values are open_channels and group_channels.
channel_url	string	Specifies the unique URL of the channel where the target message was made.
parent_message_id	long	Specifies the unique ID of a parent message to retrieve.

Response

If successful, this action returns the thread information of a message in the response body.
